Joshua House Altar is a ministry dedicated to restoring the sanity of society by healing its smallest and most powerful unit: the family.
We believe that the Gospel is not just a message to be preached, but a life to be lived. Our home is our primary altar, and our family unity is our loudest sermon. We are committed to raising Mission-Minded Families who do not just speak about God, but visibly reflect His character through our love, our service, and our “abiding” life.
OUR FOUNDATIONS
1. The Anchor (Service): “Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve… But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15) We have made a covenant decision that our home is exclusive territory for God’s Kingdom.
2. The Source (Abiding): “Abide in Me, and I in you… for without Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:4-5) We recognize that we cannot impact the world if we are dry on the inside. Our public service flows from our private intimacy with Jesus. We prioritize the “Secret Place.”
3. The Goal (Impact): We believe that a family on fire for God is a city on a hill. By restoring order and Godliness in our home, we inspire others to do the same, transforming our community in Mbarara and the nations beyond.
